Responsibilities

As an Advisor at Lunar Metallurgy Corporation (LMC), you will play a key role in helping shape our technology, strategy, and long-term vision as we develop innovative systems for lunar resource extraction and processing. Drawing on your experience in academia or industry, you will provide technical and strategic guidance, review concepts and development plans, offer insight into industry best practices, identify potential risks and opportunities, and help foster valuable connections within the space, research, or business communities. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity to contribute your expertise to a company working to enable sustainable human presence on the Moon.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in academia, industry, government, or the commercial space sector.
• Expertise in one or more relevant disciplines, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Planetary Science, Robotics, Manufacturing, Business Development, Intellectual Property, or related fields.
• Demonstrated technical, scientific, or business leadership through research, engineering, entrepreneurship, or executive experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide thoughtful, constructive guidance.
• A passion for innovation and advancing the future of space exploration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with lunar exploration, in-situ resource utilization (ISRU), metallurgy, mining, or space systems.
• Previous experience advising startups, serving on advisory boards, or mentoring engineering teams.
• Familiarity with technology commercialization, government funding, strategic partnerships, or venture-backed startups.
• An established network within the aerospace, research, or investment communities.

Note

This is a remote or hybrid part-time (mainly evening hours) position. The compensation for this position is 100% equity based.
